The issue was tricky to reproduce as it would only occur if the browser reported > 2 seconds between the request and response start times, but this should be sorted in the next release. Note that the changes have not been rolled out here just yet.

Great news that this has finally been fixed

Unless the release of 2.3.4 is planned to happen within the next 2 weeks:
Would it be possible to post the patch for this commit?
That would be really useful.
