Duplicate Not able to add multiple files via drag and drop

When I try to add multiple files via drag and drop, it seems to upload just the first selected file and not others.

It works fine with the "Attach files", but not with drag and drop.

Tested with:
Chrome Version 106.0.5249.119 (Official Build) (x86_64)
macOS 12.6 (21G115)

Pretty sure going to be shown as "not a bug" unless they've changed the editor from Froala. It's had that restriction for a while. Redactor in the 1.x line did not have it.

Duplicate - Upload multiple files at once doesn't work

When I'm trying to attach multiple files by drag&drop into the editor, only a single file is uploaded. I'm not sure if this feature supposed to work in the new editor of XF2, it worked in XF1 though. Tested in Win 7 Chrome 74

Select multiple files in files manager (by example, Windows Explorer). Drag and drop into editor on forum. Only one file will be uploaded. I expect uploading multiple files, as it works on XenForo v1.x. I'm not sure, browser problem or not, but i reprodused this issue on two browsers: Firefox...

Bring back Multiple Attachment Uploads (XF 2.1+)

It used to be quite nice to dump a dozen photos into the editor and call it a day. Now we have to upload images one by one and this is quite obnoxious. I'm unsure of the technical reason for why this is not possible anymore, but I propose finding the root reason and implementing a second option...

XF 2.2 - Allow users to select multiple files (photos) to post at one time

Right now, my new forum is only allowing the selection of ONE file for upload at a time. I can't find a setting to allow the selection of multiple files / photos. Thanks for indulging the newbie!

That's unfortunate. Even if it's not supported, the user is confused and doesn't understand the editor's behavior. An overlay with a message could solve this issue with directions on how to upload multiple files; and/or creating an error that only one file should be uploaded at once via drag & drop (basically do an upload check for the amount of file based on the method uses to upload them. I hope it's possible).
