Non-Valid Password Resets

So, during a double conversion/scrape of ProBoards -> SMF -> XenForo, passwords are one of the things that'd be lost. So how can users who do not have a valid username/password be forced to change it via email reset? There are already members on the board, so I don't want every password reset, only non-valid ones (for example, an empty entry for password in the db, or a corrupted one?)

The request needs to be made individually for each email address via the lost password form.

Any way to automate it for users with an empty password field? It wouldn't be too hard to make of an add-on I guess if there isn't.
