Hello,

I´ve created a section called V.I.P ...I want this section be viewed only by a SPECIAL GROUP called V.I.P too :)

By default all members are REGISTRED MEMBERS

I´ve added MEMBERS to this new GROUP

In their PROFILE the VIP group is the secondary group

VIP.PNG

Regarding the section called V.I.P i set the permission of REGISTRED MEMBERS on INHERIT and on ALLOW for the VIP group .

Why REGISTRED MEMBERS can keep seing this VIP GROUP?

Inherit means take the parent permission, which would be yes.

Set the node to private and then allow the group(s) you want to access it.

There are two ways of doing it.

1. Set the node as private
2. Allow the 'View node' permission for the desired user group(s) or user(s).

or

1. Revoke the 'View node' permission for the Registered user group
2. Allow the 'View node' permission for the desired user group(s) or user(s).
