XF 2.1 no-title threads - oops!

When I go there, it says now title.

a) How can there be a thread with no title?

b) How did it get there?

x) What is the solution?

Any add-ons installed?

Was this thread posted in XF, or is this an old thread from an imported site?

What does the title column contain for that thread in the database?
I presume it's going to be blank but it's worth checking.

I am on v2.1.8 Patch 2.

Yes, I have about 10 addons I think.

I found this in the database. I migrated to Xenforo a couple of months ago. The post_date is June 11th 2020! I cannot see any thread, just the error saying oops!

There's something not right with your database.

Which software did you import from and with which importer?

I suspect these issues existed in the source database prior to importing.

I used the CLI importer. Just the normal one supplied with Xenforo.

If you still have the database you imported from you can check whether the data was already like that - I suspect it was otherwise we would have had other reports by now.

However, you're likely going to have to make some manual changes to the database to correct any erroneous entries.

Can I just manually delete that row in the database, or is that likely to break something?

That would result in orphaned data.

Just add a thread title and see if that resolves it.

Then it's likely going to require taking a deeper look at the database to identify the corrupt data and resolve it by adding the missing content/data.
