XF 2.0 No text box at bottom of the thread?

Hey, I run a Xenforo 2 forum.

I notice that when I am logged in and view a thread I get this at the bottom:



However, when one of my registered users is logged in this is the screen shot he sent me of what he gets:



Why does he not get the same text box I do? Am I missing something basic or is this an issue?

He is using Chrome Version 62.0.3202.94.

Is this using a default style?
By chance are you using CloudFlare with RocketLoader enabled? This is VERY frequently the cause of no text box for the editor. That's one reason it's still in BETA (last time I looked) and requires you to make exceptions in it for it to work.

Thanks for the reply. Default style. Everything is stock/vanilla. No add-ons of any kind.

As I said, this is typically caused by RocketLoader. Got a link to the site?
Also, there could be some javascript that is killing the editor prior to loading fully.

This might just be something on the user's end too, although he's clarified that he has no add-ons in Chrome, nor has modified the settings for it.

If it's only happening for one member then it's going to be local to them - most likely browser.

Tell them to force clear the browser cache to see if that resolves it.

If not, try another device and browser.
