No moderator options

Discussion in 'Troubleshooting and Problems' started by Ryszard Stepien, Apr 17, 2013.

  1. I have no options to edit, delete, move or change users posts and subjects.

    I can only edit posts in my own subjects.

    I've marked all admistrator rights on but any administrative has no moderator options.

    You need to assign yourself as a moderator as well.

    /admin.php?moderators/ (Admin CP -> Users -> Moderators)

    Also, an help article is available.

    Administrators are not moderators and vice versa.

    They are two completely separate functions.

    Unless its permissions, it sounds like you have an add-0n that is interfering with your moderation duties.
  11. would You know which add-on that could be?

    I hardly use add-ons, so no, I do not know of one that directly interferes with them. You can test if it is an add-on or core XenForo by disabling add-ons globally.
  13. add-ons disabled and still doesn't work

    do I have to set any chmod to specyfic folders on server?

    For moderator permissions, no. What are the permissions for a moderator in a specific forum?
  15. the same as admin at the moment, all on and it is still the same

    Mind screen capping them? This is most likely your problem. If you'd like me to look at it further, you can PC me details and I'll take a look.

    You also haven't set "Revoke" or "Never" to the administrator permissions on nodes for the group / user in a parent node have you?
  18. Thank You all, I had to many "Never" permissions, all is fine now!
