I had a few ppl try to register but they never got an email for confirmation..is there something that needs to be set up for this to happen? I made an email account for this site in cpanel but am unsure of the next step...thanks!
Check the settings in your Admin Control Panel - Home > Options > Email Options
Default Email Address: Should be the email address that you want the board to use for automated emails Bounced Email Address: Usually left blank Default Email Sender Name: Can be left blank (and your board name will be used) or you can manually add a short/different name here
Email Transport Method: Usually checked by default - and in some cases you'll need to check the "-f parameter" too.
If you've chosen SMTP you'll need to add the details of your SMTP server in this section.
