When XF is ready to run that forum I would say mission accomplished!

I just don't get that place. I've never met anyone who's even heard of that website in my day to day life.

Where do the people come from? xD

I don't think they will change to XF any time soon at all, even a while down the line.

It's actually run on phpBB if I remember correctly, but it's been modified so much you can hardly call it phpBB at this point. :p

>.> gaia..... everything wrong with anime has come from that place...

It's the bigger forum on Internet. In the past they used PHPBB, now i think is a custom forum script...

I think that Xenforo with the right hardware, server and forum optimization can already support a very large userbase. If PHPBB can do this, why not Xenforo?

Most of the largest forums are niche forums you and many others have never heard of. How many forums do you recognize in the list on the site below? I bet it's not a majority of them (unless of course you have seen this list before).

And that's not so strange, because unlike social network and other sites, forums are mostly used to attract a niche audience instead of a broad one.

Good point. I don't know anybody that's interested in anime. Ahhh it all makes sense now! ...:cautious:
