Fixed New Posts Sessions

Has something changed in the 2.1.0 series for new posts sessions.

In XenForo 1.0.0 series when you click new posts and you leave it on that page. Come back hours later. Click on mark forum read. Then click on new posts and it will bring any new posts since your last visit.

Now do this same thing in the 2.1.0 series and it marks everything read. Even new posts that may have been posted after you left. Is this the behavior I should expect?

No, that's not expected and not how it has worked in my experience -- we pass the time to mark things as read up to. Can you reproduce this consistently?

On my iPhone I can reproduce it every time. I haven’t tried on a computer yet. Will give that a try.
