Fixed New attachments being mirrored to XFMG do not get automatically watched

I have my account preferences set to Alert for "comments on a watched media item or album", but it doesn't appear that alerts are being generated when members comment on my media gallery images. Alerts for likes are generated, but not comments. Is this a bug?

Thanks Brogan. I've replied. I think the issue that I'm seeing is with mirrored media items, these do not have watch enabled by default, but direct uploads to the media gallery do have it enabled. It would be great if mirrored items could also have watch enabled by default. Otherwise this is pretty confusing for members.

Thank you for reporting this issue, it has now been resolved. We are aiming to include any changes that have been made in a future XFMG release (2.2.2).

Change log:

When mirroring attachments to the media gallery automatically mark the media as viewed and, where applicable, automatically watch the media item.

There may be a delay before changes are rolled out to the XenForo Community.
