I know @Mike Edge runs xFHost, but I don't use shared hosting so anyone I've been with wouldn't help you out. Arvixe also has a few representatives around here (but I do not know their usernames), you may want to checkout the third party offers forum.

Any forum hosted at xfhost? I just wanna see if its run smooth

Sure, some of the larger boards we host include http://www.turbobuick.com/forums/ which is an average of 800 online and almost 3 million posts, http://stratics.com/community/ about 1.5 million posts http://gotitans.com/forum/ about 1 million posts and http://www.tafreehmella.com/ who just recently broke 2 million posts. All these sites are hosted on the same server config you would be under our shared hosting packages. Please do let me know if you have any further questions.

When you write "250 Online Users Allowed" what do you mean by that?

250 concurrent unique IP connections including guests. We do allow a 100 user burst, but if used often, you'll need to upgrade. We have no cap on CPU or RAM and have found this is what works best for our clients, capping connections rather then CPU/RAM allowing for more add-ons.

I was basically in the same boat but I did a 3 year with them. Kept them for about 3 months and ended up getting a VPS. They did (and fairly quickly) refund the remaining balance. The only complaint I had was they were supposed to keep the account active through the end of the month but deactivated upon notification. Luckily I had most of my stuff backed up.
