My members would like a directory, of sorts, where members can create "author bios" of themselves, replete with additional information, photos, publications, and so on. I agree with them that this would be of benefit in many respects.
My question to you all is this: how can I go about setting up a directory--say, for example, one like this--and linking it to the forum? I'd prefer something that the users can maintain, so that registered members can create their own "author" autobiography page. But I don't see anything in xenforo or add-ons that could facilitate that.
I do have a licensed copy of PHP Link Directory, but I've not really used it, nor do I believe that it's really designed for this kind of application.
In any case, any creative or knowledgeable suggestions would be welcome.
