Browser issue Native device emoji – disappearing emojis inside the emoji editor overlay

I tried this on a clean install of mine using macOS 14.1.1 (23B81) with Chrome Version 119.0.6045.159 (Official Build) (x86_64)

It seems to be Chrome-specific as it works with Safari.

It happens only when choosing "Native device emoji" and not with the other types.

We’ll check this out in more detail but I can’t imagine this is anything but a browser bug.

also some emojis aren't displayed correctly in the posts:




changing to "native emojis" fixed it for my forum

Seems to work fine in the latest Chrome
Version 120.0.6099.129 (Official Build) (arm64)
