Yes it is, there may be some outdated templates in 1.3.4 but will fix that this afternoon, otherwise it works fine on 1.3.0 - 1.3.3

Style Properties: Forum / Node List
- Category Strip
--In background Remove the Image url.

For Sidebar:

Style Properties: Sidebar
- Block Heading
--In background Remove the image url.
