In our documentation system at work (Confluence) there is a 'recently viewed' feature on my account menu which allows me to easily find pages I've recently read. In our ticket system (Jira) we have a 'recent issues' feature that allows me to find tickets I've recently read. Both these are super useful to find something I was looking at or working on the day before and had planned to continue working on later.
So it just seems like a good idea to have a similar feature in XF. It would probably make sense to place it on the account menu near 'Your content'.
