Add-on Multiple Account Detector?

We've previously been using g0rn's multiple account detector which is a very useful addon, especially foe dealing with banned members sneaking back onto your site.

However unfortunately it looks like he's no longer able to maintain it and it never got posted to the Resource Manager.

I just wondered if anyone had considered taking this on?

However the account detector was a bit nicer as it was cookie based and helped with people using proxies, etc.

Bump for this. Gorn's posted this under a creative commons license and stated that he "would be very grateful if someone would repost it to the new XenForo Resource Manager and fix all the things needs to be fixed due to changes in XenForo" and for us at least it proved a vital tool in combating troublesome accounts in VB so a port to XF would be great.

Could somebody check the whole thread and make a summary of all open bugs`?

It's mostly feature requests and there aren't many bug reports, it's just not been updated in a long while. People repoorted that it was working on XF 1.1.1 though.

but g0rn responded that

"I have just tested it and cannot reproduce this. You may try to reupload the file /library/MultipleAccountDetection/EventListener.php as this error might appear if the file is corrupted."

I'm using this on my site without any issues so far. Version 1.1.3
