Add-on Move own thread

I see there used to be an addon for users to move their own threads, but now deleted and never developed for xf2

This request is a bit more specific. I want users to be able to move their own thread from one specified forum to another specified forum.

This is in order that users who have sold an item, can move their own sale thread from the For sale forum into the Sold forum.

Currently they can edit the thread title to add a Sold prefix, but we find it useful to have all sold items in a separate forum - it's a great resource archive for people to see how much things were priced.

Have you found one? I want users to be able to move their own thread to a specified forum that has more permissions, and then move them back again to any forum.

We have a private forum with NO View threads by others and have full edit own permissions for users to organise their own threads before making them public and when needed move them after publishing again to add, remove...etc.

Were you able to allow users to move back and forth between forums? Or does the add-on you used function in a specific non flexible way?

I’m not quite sure what you mean. It basically does what it says, and did what I needed.
