My users sometimes have a hard time locating the download button. I'd like to either move the download button somewhere more visible, or duplicate it within the resource description. Anyone done something similar?

Anyone? I'd like to move the download button to the left side of the page, between the tabs bar and the body of the resource.
I just put a notice up that says what to do and changed the button text. Moving the button cannot be done by CSS and requires a template edit.
I'm okay with editing templates. I just need to know what to do.
I'm working on andon right now. I'll look at the template edit and test on my device site when I can.

I’m actually working on turning this into a small add-on myself, mainly so the download button styling can be controlled cleanly instead of just sitting in extra.less.
The idea is to make the button more noticeable with configurable options for things like colors, glow, pulse speed, sizing, and mobile behavior.
Quick update on this: I’ve started turning the download button styling into a small XFRM add-on.
The current goal is to make Resource Manager action buttons more noticeable without editing extra.less directly. I’m testing configurable options for colors, glow, pulse speed, sizing, and button shape.
I’m also looking at support for the different Resource Manager action types, including uploaded file downloads, external download URLs, and external purchase buttons, so admins can either keep them visually matched or style them separately later.
Still early, but it’s working locally and I’ll keep testing before posting anything as an actual resource.

Where exactly do you want the button moved to? A screenshot with your desired location would be great.
This won't actually move the button (yet) but it's in the planning stages.
Movement is on the roadmap, but for now I'm needing a few alpha testers just to test out the styling options.
