Lack of interest more alert options on thread editing/mod

I know there is an addon for this, but I don't see a reason why it shouldn't be in the base install.

I'd like to see alerts for a user when their thread is locked or moved.

The bit that he quoted is in 1.4. Regardless, the decision was taken to not interrupt any simple actions that didn't have a UI to add an alert option. Additionally, in the case of closing a thread, a moderator usually makes a post indicating this (and why), which benefits all of the people in the thread (vs an alert that goes to the creator). As such, it didn't seem to add much value.
