XF 1.4 Monthly stats - New threads not accurate

So if you use the threads in stats and it gives that that graph, I am finding it is isn't inline with the actual new threads on the forum. Anyone noticed this? I can count the new threads on our forum every month and it is always less then what stats says. Maybe it is counting new resources when that creates a new thread as a resource discussion?

Well that is a new thread, so yes those would count. It's any thread that gets created -- regardless of cause -- in the stats window.
