XF 1.4 Moderate replies for user group

On a peticular node, I want to allow a limited usergroup to be the only one to create threads (plus mods/admins). Everyone can reply. This part I've got covered with permissions. Here's the kicker - I want to limit the OP so that any replies to their own post goes to the moderation queue. Barring that, I'd be ok with moderating all REPLIES from that usergroup, but I really want to avoid moderating their original thread creation.

Any chance that's a possibility? Core functionality or addon?

At best, you can only moderate all replies in the forum (not depending on user group). Otherwise, it'd require custom development or an add-on.
