Won't fix Missing left parenthesis in the post when editing

Make a new post then enter the message "left parenthesis, punctuation, right parenthesis"
Post it and then edit the post. Don't use rich text editor.
In edit box is punctuation, right parenthesis, right parenthesis.

) - I think the issue is more to do with BBcode / smilies than an actual bug (as per rendered smiley).

Yeah, it's sort of confusing but it sees (: as the smiley. This gets translated into :).
