Microsoft Integration documentation is outdated

I'm trying to set up Microsoft Integration by following the steps at https://xenforo.com/xf2-docs/manual/connected-accounts/#microsoft

However, when I visit https://apps.dev.microsoft.com/, the following message is presented:

1565183244309.webp

1565183280666.webp

So this doesn't work anymore.

Next I went to the Azure Portal as described above, but this portal UI is a nightmare and I'm completely lost here. Is it possible for XenForo to update the documentation, and guide us through the Azure portal to create a OAuth app?

I'll look into it when I have a few moments, annoyingly they keep changing the integrations on a regular basis for no seemingly good reason (linkedin are the worst because usually they totally break things for a few weeks).

Yes the azure portal has been changed so now the manual is outdated. Anyone found the checkbox for "Live SDK Support"?

Microsoft has quite a reputation for ignoring standards and conventions, breaking things, having an unusuable ui along with a terrible documentation and generally ignoring customers and users in favor of their own comfort and good.

So I decided decades ago it is not worth the hassle dealing with microsoft and simply ignored them. Went very well, have not looked back and not missed a thing. Whenever I have been forced to use something from Microsoft (or was curious to try something out) over the last decades it sometimes looked okish at first - but horror, inconvenience and stupidity came reliably only a very short time later.
So if you can I'd ignore them - that is the only way to make them change their attitude and behavior long term (but only if a lot of people do it). If they don't you still have an easier life. ;)
