Microcart [Paid] [Deleted]

there are no importers as this has never been asked of me before.
is this some thing you need for microcart.
If I were to use Microcart, yes. I currently use IP.Nexus and would like to be able to import my customer data (at the least) into it. Rebuilding store settings and products is not as critical as maintaining the client data.

I already own the script and am wondering if this is now using normal xenforo templates instead of the tables and other code. I would love to give this addon another go on my site.

this is still being sorted out so it uses xf's template system.
 
Is there anyway to have usergroup based discounts? Say 20% for an entire usergroup?
no the coupon codes work that you give out the code and when they use the code it will take off the amount you have set it for.

so you are using the IP.Nexus as your shopping cart system and would like to move the user data to the microcart system, and possibly the products as well.
this would mean making a new inport system for this.

i dont have this script but im sure i can get hold of a demo of it and see what i can sort out if this is what you are after.

Yes, that's correct. I would like to be able to use XF strictly and get away from IPB. Nexus is a powerful script and does everything I need (including a support ticket system), but I'm no longer developing for it so that's the reason for considering switching to your system. If you need access to a copy of the script and can't get it, let me know and we can work something out, I'm sure. (it is encrypted, by the way - IPB delivers it that way)

I will get a copy if i can as i dont realy need the script just the database info and the config files to be able to import them to the microcart.
 
I am getting an error in my store that there is a problem with my account/email error. However I use this email for xenforo subscriptions and never have an issue!

Its an issue with Micro Cart 7. Just tried with Micro Cart 5 and it works. Can you fix this. I want to upgrade to 7 since I am having issues with delegating users access for multi vendor in 5.


Also, does the fee take a cut of every sale? or just of the post price?

Discovered the error with paypal only occurs when the "Multi Vendor" option is enabled. Do you know why this is occuring?

if you have the multi-vendor system active then please check this

edit the product you was trying to pay and make sure you have added your paypal address there,
as the payment address is within each product and not from the settings if vendor system active.

it will take the fee from each sales total price
 
There are 3 big bugs, I came across.

First when I click "view invocies" Under the invoices menu in My Accounts, I get this error:
Server Error
Undefined variable: invoicestatus

  1. XenForo_Application::handlePhpError() in MicroCart/ControllerPublic/index.php at line 0
  2. MicroCart_ControllerPublic_index->actionInvoice() in XenForo/FrontController.php at line 310
  3. XenForo_FrontController->dispatch() in XenForo/FrontController.php at line 132
  4. XenForo_FrontController->run() in /home/oakleyfo/public_html/index.php at line 13

Second. If I simply pretend to purchase an item, clicking through to paypal to make payment, but never actually make the payment, it still creates and shows an invoice. In addition, it allows you to leave a review for these products. This is a HUGE flaw.

In addition, it shows these "Fake" purchases under the "Bank Account" tab! Definately need to fix this for the software to function properly. Fake purchases should not show up in the UI.
 
How you I go abotu adding another field for a specific product? I have a vendor offering a customizable product, which allows engraving. Is there any way to add a field to either the product or check out which would allow members to input what they want engraved. Would just have to be a text input field. The Add options field is only for preselected menus.

all side bar blocks are now within the xf template system in the next release.
just finishing of some bug fixes then will get it released.

at this time you cannot add input fields to a product but this is something im willing to add in to the system.

I will also be adding more product types as well like mp3 downloads so you can add more info within the side info with the price and other info.
Im also adding in some other things that will be posted when i have added them but this want be till after this next release.
 
Also another issue. I just had someone purchase 2 items from me, and one from another vendor, except all the money went to the vendor instead of being split of appropriately!!

In addition, discounts for usergroups are not showing up! Also when you click on a product after entering a discount and saving, the discount appears as "0". Is the discount simply not saving? It worked in 5, but not in MicroCart 7! Can these issues be fixed ASAP please!

So many critical bugs at this point. MicroCart 7 really isn't ready for any live sites. How long until it is actually functional?

For reference here is a complete list:

  • If you simply go off the invoices the system generates this flaw could be easily exploited for free products/services!
  • No communication between Paypal API and micro cart
  • In addition, it shows these "Fake" purchases under the "Bank Account" tab! Definately need to fix this for the software to function properly. Fake purchases should not show up in the UI.
  • Multi-Vendor system does not function at all. In order to actually function it must use PayPal's Adaptive Payments API. Currently it will simply send all money to a vendor regardless of which products were purchased or the commission to be taken.
  • Usergroup discounts do not work at all. In addition when you enter the amount of the discount, and save it, it completely disappears
  • Paypal does not show an itemized list of the products a person is purchasing. Instead just shows a slew of text
  • Shipping calculations don't transfer over to Paypal. Might as well not even have them.
It seems like this might be more geared towards soft products as opposed to physical products. That is fine, but you should not advertise this as a ecommerce solution. Most of the features touted on here when I purchased this, simply do not function at all. This is very unacceptable.

I understand some of these may take some time, but is there any way you can get the smaller things such as Usergroup Discounts working sooner rather than later. These are a big deal for me.

Usergroup discounts and shipping still don't work in Version 8. If you would like more details, please feel free to PM me.

the usergroup discounts do work i will make a short video on how to add discounts to products.

are you putting in the right usergroup ids in the Add Discount Usergroups here when adding a product
