MG 2.0 MG 1.1 Personal/Albums to MG 2.0 Category/Albums

I'm about to jump from MG 1.1 to MG 2.0.

In MG 1.1 I have Personal albums, and I would like to change them to Category albums after jumping to MG 2.0.


I've taken a look at the Admin Panel and I cannot find a way to do it.

Is it possible to do it, even if it has to be with a SQL query?

Close to 200.

That's actually not too bad.

I'd probably just use inline moderation for this.

Temporarily increase the per page value to something like 50. You'll then have 4 pages of albums. Select one, then click "Select all" in inline moderation and use the "Move albums" action to move to an album category (you'll need to create the category first).

Repeat that four times and that's the job done, with no faffing about with queries and rebuilds and other stuff.

You could even do it in one by selecting all on one page, then selecting all on the next page etc. though it's probably wiser to keep it limited to a sensible number to avoid things like timeouts.

I didn't have the option to Move





After upgrading from MG 1.1 to MG 2.0 this is how the Administrative permissions look like (out of the box).

You might want to change that, so after upgrading from MG 1.1 to MG 2.0, those permissions should automatically be set to Yes.
