When you are merging threads with the same title, the merging dialog shows the same thread title so it's not entirely clear which one is the right one you want to merge to.
I think I found out by trial that it is sorted by thread post date (asc) so by default it selects the oldest thread but it would be nice to differentiate between the two different threads with the same title. Perhaps the thread date and also maybe even the original poster of the thread.
