Not planned Merge Reports

Sometimes I receive reports from two different posts but the issue might be similar or common. I have moderators discussing on both the reports and essentially the discussion gets split into two and sometimes we don't notice what is going on in the other report thread. I wish I could merge reports just as we have the ability to merge threads.

How would you handle content? Which report takes precedence?

Reports are directly tied to the content that is reported, unlike threads where context/content is based solely on time and a parent thread ID.

In general, as Jeremy implies, this wouldn't happen as it's fundamentally a different concept to the reporting system. You could report into a forum if you preferred and merge threads there.
