XF 2.0 Menu open on mouse over

So, I was just wondering if there was a way I can get my menu's to open on mouse over. I read it was a change form XF1 to XF2 - not trying to start a debate about which way is better - I'd just like an option or a css/js fix so I can have my menu's open on mouse over.

You would need an add-on/custom JS to change the menu behavior to do hover triggering. One was requested here by @Mr Lucky but it seems no one was interested.

Thanks for the reply. I am surprised it was changed with no way to change it back in the style settings.

The developers have spoken at length about it, on the old xf2 demo site and on this site.

If you do a search you may should be able to find some of their posts regarding it. It is not something they are looking to change, so the only option would be custom development.

I did see some of it and I think it's a shame. But, that's my opinion on the subject.

There's potentially never going to be a consensus on which way is best.
