Memorial Day Discounts

Has there ever been a memorial day discount on here? Why should a British company do a discount for an US-American (thus regional) event? Always a bit baffled that some Americans seem to think the world would consist of the USA only and if not still the rest of the world would have to follow local US-American habits.

I have never seen discounts given for xf, I have been wanting to transfer my forum from invision to xf for over two years but I don't intend to pay for a full license...

Being greedy and lacking attention at the same time is a bad combination. The last sale for XF I remember was in December 2023, before the general rise in price:

This was well within the timespan you mention. As they wrote in that post the price for XF has been stable since 2018 until then. So you missed not only the sale but, refusing to pay the regular price, you also missed out to buy cheaper before the prices went up.

To commercialise 'Memorial Day', or any other day to commemorate/mourn the fallen is a bit gross don't you think?
Well, considering that almost every retailer in the US runs a sale for it, I guess pretty much the whole country is a bit gross...?

But agreed, I don't see many UK companies getting on board for it.

Xenforo is a uk based company. They hardly do discounts on public holidays.
Instead they do discounts if you have 3 licences
