So I moved my forums to a new web server setup I did using CentminMod. I'm using Memcached + Zend Opcache as well for caching. I don't have a big forums but I've been checking on the Memcached stats as shown below.

    Pingdom website speed test:

    Forum Stats:
    Discussions: 4,098
    Messages: 26,041
    Members: 3,666
    Server Specs:
    4GB RAM
    100GB HDD
    CentOS 6.5 64-Bit

Is it doing it's job? I've noticed a difference in site speed since I moved to CentminMod.

I would downgrade to 1-2 GB RAM. What is your CPU?

I work for a hosting company and get services free. Why not use the best resources while they're there? Can't go wrong with extra RAM if it's not doing harm. :)

Yes. 95+ % for memcached hits shows it's doing it's job.

Sounds good. I've noticed major improvements since I've moved to this setup versus LAMP and OLS.
