I wish to use XenForo to manage a closed members only forum, that is all users are manually registered by admin staff, no guest access, and no guest sign ups.
I've got permissions set to cover this, however I would like to make the default screen shown when a user is not yet logged in a bit more presentable. Currently the screen is shown Nav bar links, a heading 'Log in', a red notice "You must be logged-in to do that." and prompt for user/pass.
Ideally, I'd like to hide the nav bars for non-logged in users on this page, or at least the links on them. All the links on these bars just reiterate the "You must be logged-in to do that." message.
Instead of this red notice, I'd like to put some better text, e.g. "this is a closed members only group, please contact us if you are having trouble logging in "
Our old VBulletin forum we're migrating from approached this via a custom login page template. Is this the way to go here in XenForo? Or are there better options?
