XF 2.2 Member Cannot Start a Conversation

Hi everyone.

One of my members can't start a conversation with anyone, she is the only the one person that has this issue, I have looked at her privacy settings and they are all how they should be.

She said it was perfectly fine this morning.

Any idea what this could be please?

The ability to start a conversation is not related to the member's own privacy settings - it is related to permissions and the privacy settings of the member they are trying to start a conversation with.

If you haven't changed anything then there's no reason for them to suddenly have a problem if they didn't previously - it just doesn't happen in XF like that.

Use the permissions analyser to determine whether they can start conversations.

I have just done the analyser and they are all fine.

They can't start conversations if they can't add any recipients.

Increase the value from 0.
