XF 2.2 Media gallery hidden image path, how to get a direct image url?

My image urls appear like this:

/forum/media/curved-wall.72448/full

I am building some apps to help with my social media management and they prefer direct image urls. Is there any way to have my media urls as a direct image link? If not is there a mod that can do it?

The images don't have a direct URL that ends with an extension like .jpg.
I think this penalizes indexing, but on this forum they say no...
