XF 2.0 MEDIA BB codes not working and can't post new media

On our sandbox, upgraded the AVForums site to XF2. None of the media=youtube tags work, and when I post a media bb code, it is blank. If I post a YouTube link, it's treated like a regular normal link.
Auto-embed media links is ticked in our media settings.
Is this a server issue?

The only addon we have which tinkers with BB codes is this one:
https://xenforo.com/community/resources/th-datatables-bb-code.4819/
which is disabled, of course. Uninstalled it without any effect.
Which leaves these - all disabled:

Your YouTube definition may have been overwritten by this add-on and when you did the XF1 to XF2 upgrade the add-on was automatically disabled which means your YouTube definition got wiped out (I had the same problem but with one of my own bespoke addons).

Check ACP => Content => BB Code Media Sites => Youtube to make sure all of the values are filled in, in particular the "Match URLs" and "Embed Template".

that was it
If there are any of the default entries missing, rebuild the master data.
And rebuilding master data brought it back, thank you both.
