XF 2.1 Maximum page width

Hi guys,

On the off chance, is there any way that you can allow the members to select various " Maximum page width" options?

If you make it to wide it upsets lots of members with large screens, some want it fully wide, others do want it so wide and don't want to run the browser in a window!

I know I can create various Styles with different " Maximum page width" but means managing the styles gets complicated!

Just wonder if anyone has done anything to cater for this?

i've seen several websites that are using a 'width' button that does it on the fly, but I don't know where they got the script.

See this site: https://pixelexit.com/demo/?theme=- Evolve - Color 2 look at the button next to the 'style chooser'. it's called 'change width' and it works dynamically.

Maybe someone wrote that as an addon to 2.x? looks like a simple jQuery toggle.
