Lack of interest Mark visited threads visited

When you visit a thread and use the browser back button to the new_posts, the thread is still marked is-unread (cached).

Maybe some other solution can keep track of visited threads so the correct information can be displayed despite the caching?

One of my users just asked if this can be changed, so that when using the browser back button to "What's New" the most recently read post (the one being viewed just before clicking "Back") is marked as read.
