XF 2.3 How do I add the Mark Read button back to thread view?

I redesigned my forum recently and am having a glitch w/ an ignore add-on I commissioned so I need to add the mark read button back to threads (not the mark forum read). Goes between these two buttons. I searched but to no avail. Please help, you are my only hope.

threads do not have a mark as read button afaik. you might be using an addon for that

Hmmm. Maybe you are right. I just thought I remembered it.

The ignored users I think aren't having their posts registered as read so the thread never appears to be completely read.

Actually, now that I think about it, a button like that wouldn't really make sense.
