Make Private Messaging more like email inbox

I have a large number of private messages and a lot of them have the same title as I use the PM function to communicate with members. its confusing.

Is there a better way to organise the thing? Think like an email inbox structure - with Sent messages, Inbox etc. in a tree structure. Many other BB software have the PM organised like this - why not XF?

Actually, while I like the idea, most forums I am on have their Direct Messages in formats similar to Xenforo. That covers Xenforo sites, Circle, and the custom my writing site uses. The only one I have used that had email-style DMs was vBulletin and the last VB site I was a member on finally switched to XF this year.
