Lost posts in threads

I seem to have lost at least 3 pages of posts in one thread, I haven't noticed any other post loss in other threads yet.

All I did was Rebuild Index Search: ALL

This was required part of an import from LN blogs to XF-blogs

After doing the Rebuild, I noticed 3 pages of posts are missing

The pages show, but are empty:



How can I bring back the posts, they are there somewhere, because it says 56 new messages… on the bottom right. Before the import and rebuild index search, the posts were showing fine.

A few latest posts on the last page show fine and any new posts after that are showing fine as well.

Advice please.

That problem can be caused by incorrect thread counters. Try rebuilding the thread info:

Admin CP -> Tools -> Rebuild Caches

By default, items to process per page is set to 250 - do I leave it as it is? Also the 'Rebuild position and post counters' this isn't ticked, should I tick it or not?

Yes. But only when you need to. For example, the search index can be very server intensive.
