Falkor Member Mar 13, 2014 #1 How do we go about stopping staff from posting in locked threads including admins?
whynot Well-known member Mar 13, 2014 #2 Good question. I hate to delete posts from locked threads from moderators Upvote 0 Downvote

Simple.... tell your staff if it's locked, it's not to be posted in. If they do, warn them like you would a normal user. If they continue - they no longer are staff. Upvote 0 Downvote

Mike XenForo developer Staff member Mar 13, 2014 #4 At best, you'd need to modify the template. But there are indications that a thread is locked, even to staff. People that can lock/unlock a thread can reply while it's locked (otherwise they could just unlock, reply, and re-lock). Upvote 0 Downvote

Falkor Member Mar 13, 2014 #5 Thanks, this is what we would want to do as most times staff seem to miss that the thread is actualy locked . Upvote 0 Downvote

When you click on this link :http://xenforo.com/community/threads/random-questions-answered.114/#post-3596 it takes you to a post. You cannot see that the thread is closed , you can reply to the post. (otherwise they could just unlock, reply, and re-lock). Click to expand... That could be the better way to handle it.
