XF 2.1 List-Unsubscribe header not set

I can't get this to work. "List-Unsubscribe" is not set in the email header.

What am I missing or how can I troubleshoot this?

Setup:

• "Unsubscribe email address" is set to forums-unsubscribe@mydomain.com
• ✔ "Variable email address values"
• ✔ "Enable automated email handler"
• Set up the same as the bounce email handler
• Email transport method: default
• Email transport class from Tools > Test outbound email: \Swift_SendmailTransport (/usr/sbin/sendmail -t -i)

Which emails are you expecting it to be set on?

It is only set on emails sent via “Email users” in the Admin CP.

You won’t see the header on watch thread emails, for example, because they are transactional.

I was expecting it to be set on all email and to be the equivalent of clicking "disable emails from this thread" at the bottom.

Is more clear than what I see in the Admin CP:

This option allows the "Unsubscribe email address" account to be automatically read and processed for unsubscribe email requests. Requests to this address will disable the "Receive news and update emails" option for users.

The "Receive news and update emails" option only has any effect when using the Email users functionality.
