Link Directory (LD) [Deleted]

Some more suggestions for the inline-mod overlay.
  • ["Select All" not working (already known, I just keep it in the summary)]
  • The moderator action named "Confirm" should be "Approve" actually to fit the rest of XenForo's tonality (because of the next point below...)
  • When a link is "approved" the moderation action should change to "unapprove", so that inline unapproval of links becomes possible.
Beside that, the inline-moderation is pretty slick, a great addition and cool.

When you un-select the new ACP option "Use Page-Description", then edit an existing link (that has a description, but you can no longer see it) then the description is removed from the DB. Re(select) the new ACP option "Use Page-Description", view the link listing, and it now has no description at all.

With ACP "Use Page-Description" unticked, the SQL used when editing a thread shouldn't null the description column. That way you won't lose it if wanting to change between displaying the description or not.

just my opinion..... but removing the "Page Description" from the "Add Link"-Form is definitely not a good idea as it most probably has adverse effects.

If you do not use the "Page Description" when submitting a Link, just leave the text-field blank.

In addition, you can now remove the "Page Description" from the Sidebar.... which was actually the main request in this regard.

Agreed. I'll certainly continue to be using link description. My bug report was only regarding if an admin decides to turn it off, then they forever lose existing descriptions when editing links.

I believe @drastic was asking for total removal of the link description - https://xenforo.com/community/threads/link-directory-ld-paid.105024/page-21#post-1032836

When (logged in as testAdmin) rating the link @ https://xenmade.com/linkdirectory/categories/arts-humanities.7/ in Grid display mode, you are taken to the 404 page. When display mode is List, rating the link works as expected.
oh a template has not been updated; ( - fixed

Pagetext is no longer cleared

getting error Maximum number of links reached!
What do you mean?

[SOLVED] Hi - one I'm not sure about..

Have a link, a user want to rate it, chose the star 1 of 5, when clicking the user got this error redirection:

Code:
linkdirectory/inline-mod/switch

Code:
Website - Error
Security error occurred. Please press back, refresh the page, and try again.

The users group have this set in permission:

upload_2016-1-31_10-52-35.webp

Anyone with a hint where to look?

So right now, users can only like/unlike and note star rate a link..

Thanks in advance.

Edit - Nevermind, got it - it was a cache issues in the chrome browser - all is good..
