Link Directory (LD) [Deleted]

Also, when you edit a link you will always be landing on the full page and not a modal – so the button "more options" is not needed. If you click edit and you want to open an overlay modal it makes sense but either the modal overlay is not working or the button is redundant.

I would not use an "overlay" at all when "Editing a Link".
Does not help at all and makes things more comlicated.

An "overlay" does not add any value in this case.

Appear to be unable to rate/vote listings, other than listings that already have a star rating.
Hover your mouse over any star rating that is all grey. Cannot click anywhere on the stars to submit a rating. Hover your mouse over any star rating that is partial gold, can click on the stars to submit(/change?) your rating.

Change the URL for the 'Discuss' link (with Edit | Delete | Report ...) to jump to unread, eg. http:/domain.com/threads/xxx.123/unread
Add a phased "Discuss" call to action button on the right-hand side, below star ratings. I'll change mine to "Review", and would like it to go to the 'Post Reply' box for the thread.

Sorry, don't like what you've done here. Perhaps misunderstood what I was requesting?
The 'Discuss (x)' hyperlink was better at the bottom. Now that you've moved it to the right, it doesn;t stand out as much and is much more difficult to click (and realise it can be clicked) when the hyperlink is just a numeric number on the far right.
Here's what I meant .....

Thank you!

Can I get you to like the idea to adapt the XFMG Category style with the collapsible functionality and the FontAwesome icon? It is the best and simplest solution out here and it brings great consistency throughout the forum.

linkdirectory/?order=user ('User with most links' in sub-nav) not working? 'Order By' in top right doesn't display an option when sub-nav is selected, and there is no 'User' in 'Order By' drop-down values.

Getting more awesome with every update... Now with the thumbnail preview and the landscape format for thumbnails it looks even better. Great job!

Two things I recognized:

The breadcrumb page Title is redundant to the breadcrumb display just right above it and it's odd (not used by any other add-on I have seen so far). I know it's there from the beginning but I just realized it.

In Responsive Mode the Grid Layout is not using the full width (in multiple screen sizes like phone and pad devices). The grid should hold 3 containers on a pad and should expand to full width on phones.

did a little improvement!

(y)(y)Two thumbs up for the Category Widget Redesign. I owe you a beer. ;)

I think the demo site is not responsive anymore or the layout is broken?... o_O

A new version for testing is online! With many changes especially in the design and phrases
Very, very nice! :) One item I noticed;
Set the 'Order By...' (eg. to title ascending) or a prefix filter or list/grid view, and then click on a (sub)category selection. The 'Order By...' and 'filter' is reset back to date descending and no filter, and list view. I believe the 'Order By...', filter, and list/grid view should be maintained across all LD pages.

A few suggestions (for v2.1?) :)

Could we please have an admin option to not have images in the sidebar? I tried setting the image size to 0(zero), thinking that might do it, but it just reset it back to 24 and continues to display them. I find that the sidebar images are too small, and thus not of any use.

Also, would like admin options to, when creating links, for 'Create Thread' , 'Watch this thread...', and 'Image Type' to be defaulted.

Extra bonus points .... if admin option is that OG:Image is defaulted, wouldn't it be great that once the user enters the URL, the OG meta is immediately retrieved to pull back (and put into the add link form) the og:image, og:title, and og:description. Automatically filling-in most of the form for the user :)
