I would suggest adding a third display option of compressed minimal. I need a directory, but it will contain thousands of links. The two layouts now are too bulky for that.

My mistake, I have www under check software. i delete it and no error show up.

Cron working OK now with new files

Cron is taking over 1 minute to finish up (I have 33 links only), should cron run so often (every 5 minutes)?

I'm interested in adding a "directory of writers" section to my site, and so this naturally caught my attention. However, in playing around with the demo, it would seem to be most geared toward providing links and less toward giving authors or contributors text fields in which to describe the links (or other things). I'm wondering if you could therefore allow user-defined fields (including text boxes) in a future release, along with user-defined titles for those fields, of course, that would show on the front end. For my site, for example, I'd be looking at creating fields for "author bio," "publications," contact information," etc. Any actual link to the person's site (if he or she has one) would be a secondary consideration.

To me, this kind of thing is where the value in a "directory" script lies today--not in merely, or primarily, providing a way to list outbound links. The more text- and content-heavy the directory entries are, furthermore, the more weight they would be given by the search engines, I would think.

You need/want https://xenforo.com/community/resou...gement-system-reviews-guides-garage-etc.1208/ it does everything (and a whole lot more) that you are asking for. This add-on is Link Directory, so of course it's primary consideration is links and interacting with those links.

1. Inline Moderation. Approve/Unapprove Links directly in the Link List or Grid View as well as display unapproved links with the standard XenForo ".moderated" class and icon. Keep them visible for those with moderator rights.
2. Soft-Delete Links. Add standard XF ".deleted" class and icon to the soft deleted links. Keep them visible for those with moderator rights.
