XF 1.5 Limit Post Amount in Forum Node?

Hello all,

Is there a way to limit the amount of posts a user can make in a forum node each day? What I'm trying to do is allow a usergroup to post once per day in the area.

I'm assuming this would need to be done through an addon? Any insight on the possibility of this would be awesome.
