XF 2.3 Limit other users to post.

Hello Team,

Is it possible to limit other users to post on the thread created by other user.

Example:

User 1 created a thread
User 2 can not post in that thread
Only Moderator and the User 1 can post in that thread.

That’s probably the better option unless you need all the other features of User Essentials

If you don't need to show those threads to other people (except mods and the original poster) you can use XF settings to set a forum (Node) to only show threads that are started by the OP (mods can be set to see all content regardless) and thus only the mods and the original poster can see those threads and inherently reply to them.

If you need other readers to see that content but not reply (except for original poster & mods) to it, then you'll need one of the addon options above.

Specific node Settings: (Thread owners can see their own content, but not other content in the same node that they don't own)
