I just found out for myself that there is a special situation, where it makes sense to open threads with data-xf-click="overlay"
In this special situation the forum now works like charm, i open threads just in a second, click them away, watch the next. This is very, very nice and so much more smoth then the typical click> new page > back > click > new page > back (click plus STRG for a new tab)
The only problem now is the lightbox. Whenever i open thumbs to lightbox > close lightbox > the overlay with thread is gone.
But if i use click > overlay > report, i get another overlay. This time i can close the report window without loosing the thread in an overlay.
Is this maybe a question of the z-value?
