Duplicate Kick a member of conversation

Hello everyone!
I have a very nice idea for XenForo, especially for Inbox: It would be nice if the user who created the conversation could remove certain members from it, so that the conversation is no longer seen by the kicked user.

This has been suggested before,

Participants leaving a conversation & removing them from one

When a participant leaves a conversation, his user name still appears to the other participants in the list. Is this a bug or is it as designed? I think the latter but wanted to be sure. The suggestion is, I have conversations where I need to remove certain users I included when starting it...
