Jumping the Vb4 ship - Do I wait or not?

Hi folks,

I want to jump ship from Vb4 to XF. (www.landcruiserclub.net) When I jumped ship from phpBB to Vb4 I did so just before Vb5 was released. This irked me a bit as it was not an included upgrade. (Hindsight, this was a good thing)

I find VB4 quite dated now and the final push has been tapatalk hijacking my users but without a responsive design I cannot do much about it.

So, is XF2.0 out next week / month (official or rumours)?

From an official PoV - will the upgrade from 1.x to 2.0 be part of my normal licence? I don't want to start off on old software. I have a run-up time of a month or so ( I have a day job) from the point of purchase to cutting over fully.

Thanks,
Crispin

If you purchase an XF1 license, you will be able to upgrade to XF2 at no additional cost, if you have active support and updates (which is included in the license cost for the first 12 months) and a release is made available during that time.

Brilliant - thanks.
